State of the University 2014
Office of the President
This is the second year WMU has appeared on Washington Monthly's list of top-100 national universities and its second appearance in the magazine's more recent "best bang for the buck" category. I want to add my own note of thanks to our crews who have and continue to work so hard to keep the campus attractive. That constant care and attention to our physical plant is a big job—and one that is growing. Take a moment to admire our new student housing and community center in Western View II, and drive by our new Zhang Legacy Collections Center on the Oakland Drive Campus.

"The judges' feedback was very positive for our team's submission," says Dr. Karen Lancendorfer, associate professor of marketing and advisor to the team. "They noted we did a great job with our campaign and that the research and media were very strong and tied well to the creative executions and overall integrated strategy.
