Kathleen Hawkins

Kathleen Hawkins is an accomplished tennis professional with a distinguished playing and coaching career. As a collegiate athlete at Western Michigan University, she earned Team MVP honors in 2012 and 2013 and reached a career-high national singles ranking of No. 55. She consistently led her team in singles and doubles victories, capturing multiple titles, including an ITA Second Chance singles championship, while posting standout records in both dual and conference play.

Prior to her collegiate career, she compiled a perfect 69–0 high school singles record at Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Prep, leading her team to three state championships and earning Michigan’s Miss Tennis honor.

As a coach, Kathleen has developed players across all levels, producing high-UTR athletes and guiding 16 players to state finals appearances. She specializes in technical instruction, match strategy, and mental development, delivering individualized training programs that support both performance and growth. Known for her leadership, communication skills, and passion for the game, she is dedicated to building strong, disciplined athletes and successful tennis programs.
