Friday, October 9
Student/Alumni Networking Luncheon
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Waldo Library (1903 W Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008)
Keynote Speaker: Eric Cunningham, General Partner at Kalamazoo Forward Ventures
Cost: $20 for alumni
Connect with current WMU students and fellow alumni during a luncheon designed to build relationships across generations of Broncos. Hear from keynote speaker Eric Cunningham, General Partner at Kalamazoo Forward Ventures, share experiences and perspectives, and help strengthen connections between today’s students and the Onyx Society.

Onyx Society Annual Meeting Breakfast
10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Location: Adrian Trimpe Building (2466 Ring Rd S, Kalamazoo, MI 49006)
Cost: Free
Join fellow members for an important conversation about the organization’s future. Reflect on the question, “Whatever happened to the Onyx Society?” and be part of the discussion about its history, priorities and next chapter. The gathering will also feature “What’s Your Story?” presented in partnership with WMU Libraries, the University Center for the Humanities and the Onyx Society of WMU Black History Project.

Onyx Society Game Night
5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Location: 2nd Floor, WMU Student Center (1070 Student Ctr Lp Rd, Kalamazoo, MI 49008)
Cost: $25 in advance/ $30 at the door (no cash)
Reconnect with alumni and friends for an evening of board games, card games, dominoes, conversation and Bronco spirit. Bring a favorite game or simply come ready to enjoy the evening together. The event will include a buffet and cash bar, with admission supporting the Onyx Society student scholarship fund.
