Community boards and committees
The Office of Community Outreach facilitates broad interaction and engagement between Western Michigan University and the community, due in part to the membership and participation of the office's associate vice president on major community boards and advisory committees. The AVP serves as the primary liaison to foster connections between the community and the University's students, faculty, staff and other resources to create and sustain mutually beneficial partnerships.
