Timothy Light Center for Chinese Studies online lecture “Understanding Southeast-Asia Urban Teleconnections in China’s Belt and Road Initiative” is scheduled to be on November 29th at 3:30 PMDr. Angel Hsu, Assistant Professor of Public Policy and the Environment, Ecology and Energy Program at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, will present preliminary findings on how overseas investments from China through efforts like the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and other infrastructure investments affect land use in Southeast Asia and discuss implications for China's carbon neutrality efforts.
