Migration Policy Preference and Forms of Trust

Isabel Ruiz from the University of Oxford will present on migration policies preferred by people in receiving countries and how different types of trust moderate those preferences. While evidence from the US and Europe suggests that greater political trust positively relates to less restrictive preferences, Ruiz explores other possibilities using conjoint experiments measuring public support for migration policy packages in Colombia and Peru.
