Climate Change in the Great Lakes: Past and Future

Posted by Isabelle Topor for Climate Change Working Group

Seminar at Lee Honors College: Dr. Dave Karowe, WMU Biological Sciences

We’ll start by briefly describing how the climate of the Great Lakes Region has changed over the past 100 years, then focus on the future.  What would 5 degrees of global warming mean for ecosystems and human health in our region?  How much better would our future be if we limited global warming to 2 degrees?  We’ll finish by describing some of the things we can do today to make a better future more likely.
