General summary

Assists with designing, conducting, analyzing, and reporting market research.

Major duties

  • Assists with designing, conducting, and coordinating effective market research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Assists with collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and creating detailed reports using multiple software programs. May present results to the department leadership team and external constituents.
  • Profiles and analyzes competitor programs, including value proposition, practices, and pricing strategies.

Minimum qualifications

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • One year's relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in market research strategy and analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
