General summary

Directs all aspects of enrollment services at the graduate level.

Major duties

  • Manages and oversees all aspects of enrollment services in the graduate college, including the recruitment team and enrollment efforts.
  • Creates and maintains recruitment materials, evaluates recruitment and yield activities, monitors and reports enrollment data, and works with departments and programs to assess capacity and areas for strategic growth.
  • Develops and manages programming for graduate student success. Oversees graduate orientation, graduate assistantship training and the graduate fair.
  • Provides guidance and oversight on University policies and procedures related to graduate education.
  • Compiles and maintains data on enrollment funnel metrics and quantifying marketing, social media, communication strategies and efforts to review effectiveness.
  • Conducts research for marketing and social media initiatives. Creates and circulates resources University-wide for departments to utilize with best practices, enrollment trend data, and materials.
  • Participates in the university community and represents the graduate college in University committees and activities as requested.
  • Assists with strategic planning and prioritization of graduate college functions and improvement of efficiencies. Serves as the lead on the new student recruitment and current student outreach efforts.
  • Administers the graduate college ambassador program.
  • Hires, trains, evaluates, and supervises student employees.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Three years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
