General summary

Coordinates daily supervision and operation of the Center for Disability Services.

Major duties

  • Ensures that the implementation of the treatment plans for adults with disabilities is in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Ensures accurate completion of documentation and maintenance of case records.
  • Resolves team and consumer issues, including assisting in the development of behavior treatment plans. Teaches methods to implement behavior treatment plans for consumers.
  • Reconciles funds in order to ensure spending money for activities and purchases. Creates individual financial reconciliation reports.
  • Collaborates with University staff in order to ensure vehicles receive proper maintenance and meet safety standards. Coordinates vehicle schedules for programs.
  • Schedules, trains and supervises full- and part-time staff and student employees. Resolves personnel and operational issues.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required experience

  • Five years' relevant experience.

Required other

  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Relevant industry certification.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
