General summary

Produces reports for the annual funding programs, internal report requests, and campus partners. Assists with the updating and creating of dashboards that supports data analytics and business insights. Provides technical support to end users.

Major duties

  • Assists with data requests for advancement services, runs ad hoc reports, and supports data insights team with dashboard creation.
  • Works with data insights from customer relationship management software and other data sources that capture end user behavior to create visualizations that inform data driven decisions.
  • Assists with segmentation for email and direct mail marketing. Uses all demographic, capacity, and connection data to prioritize segments.
  • Works with outside vendors to build data models for personalized outreach and engagement purposes.
  • Serves as resource for technical projects associated with software vendors.
  • Connects with University staff to gather requirements and to define scope related to internal projects and tasks.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum qualifications based upon job documentation and industry best practices. Any current employees not meeting these qualifications will be grandfathered until they move to a different job.

Required education

  • Bachelor's degree in related field from an accredited institution.

Required experience

  • Two years' relevant experience.
  • Experience maintaining system documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Physical requirements

Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.

Working conditions

Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
