Bio:
Dr. Brad Phillips is a certified nurse educator with expertise in nursing education, curriculum development, accreditation, and academic program leadership. His research focuses on the health and wellbeing of family caregivers of children and youth with special healthcare needs, informed by his clinical background in pediatric critical care. An active scholar and national nursing leader, he serves as Vice-Chair of the Jonas Nursing Alumni Council, on the editorial board of the Journal of Family Nursing, and is committed to mentoring faculty and students. As Director of the WMU Bronson School of Nursing, Dr. Phillips is dedicated to advancing academic excellence, innovation, community partnership, and student success while preparing practice-ready nurses to meet evolving healthcare needs.
