Program description

This conference will provide information for educators and parents about how to work with children who struggle with dyslexia, a disorder that affects 20-25% of the population. The focus will be on the best practices for teachers of reading and structure literacy and everyday executive functioning.

Participants will learn the foundation skills and methods for identifying a student’s specific reading and writing needs and how to address these needs in tailored authentic activities.

There are no prerequisites to attend this conference.

Program credits

Attendees of the program can earn 7-17 SCECH credits.

Cost

Registration fee to record SCECH hours is $20 per person. Conference registration costs can be found on the conference website.
