Alumna Clinches Victory in State House Race

Pagan defeated Republican candidate Carol Ann Fausone 16, 778 votes to 13,590 in tallies from Canton, Van Buren Township and Belleville. Pagan plans to use her 21st District seat to be a voice for public education and to fight for fixed roads, middle-class jobs and to repeal Michigan’s senior pension tax. Pagan received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Human Performance and Health Education at Western Michigan University in health education in 2004.

WMU supervisor honored for mentoring, customer service, leadership

"Tyler is one of those guys who has the perfect balance of technical skills and people skills," says his supervisor Arnold Taylor , director of support services for WMU's Office of Information Technology. "He is committed to making sure he's serving people and brings an attitude of customer service to the job every day." Tyler Payne Payne supervises about 20 student technicians at WMU's Help Desk, which handles both telephone and walk-in customers with computer hardware, software, and mobile device related questions or problems.
