One Last Time Together

As our time in India is approaching its final days, one can only sit and think of all that they have experienced, well at least I have. There have been endless amounts of laughs and smiles, so it is only fitting that today we get to experience a ceremony with the faculty members at Christ University and our buddies from India. However, something special about this ceremony is that I and the rest of the students on the trip had the opportunity to present all that we have learned in India to the staff/buddies, plus we had the opportunity to formally dress in Indian attire. I was wearing a Kurta, and the compliments I received from it were endless! Anyways, after the presentations we then gathered together one last time for pictures and dinner to reminisce on the amazing time and all of the memories that we now share with India.

One other thing I would like to add is that in preparation for this presentation that we had prepared for the staff/buddies, myself and another student took a moment across the streets of Bangalore to find a hair salon to present ourselves in a better manner for the pictures! However, one interesting thing about this visit to the hair salon was that although we were in an entirely different country getting our haircut, the other student who was with me asked the hair stylist for the same haircut as mine because he thought it was pretty cool (It was a fade if anybody was wondering!), and the end result never looked better. This was an experience of its own, and my advice to anybody who is considering getting their haircut abroad is to give it a shot, who knows you may end up liking just liked my friend Nick did with his new fade!
