This is your personal invitation
Dear Alumni and Friends,
Thank you to those who attended the first of our Think Big Initiative town hall meetings for a job well done. We appreciate your participation and value your ideas.
This initiative is designed to collect the best and brightest ideas from our community, so that, together, we can move WMU forward. As alumni, you are our experts on what the world needs and expects from us.
We want to hear from you, whether you live in Kalamazoo, Kansas or Kenya! Here’s how you can help:
- Attend an upcoming town hall in February. RSVP here.
- Wednesday, February 6, 9-11 am, Fetzer Center 1035-1055
- Thursday, February 7, 9-11 am, CHHS 4010 Limited seating
- Tuesday, February 12, 3-5 pm, Student Recreation Center Indoor Tennis Courts
- Wednesday, February 13, 3-5 pm, Trimpe Multicultural Center—Limited seating
- Friday, February 15, 9-11 am, Parkview Campus, Floyd Hall, Parkview Room, D-132—Limited seating
- Visit the website to learn about the process and timeline of the Think Big Initiative.
- Review the creative concepts from previous town halls online, and recommend the ideas you believe will move the WMU experience to the next level.
- Share your big idea! Submit your own big idea through the Think Big Initiative website.
Those who came before us helped to shape the Western Michigan University we see today. Now, we’re asking you to help us think about how the University can benefit our students, our community and the world for years to come.
We would be honored if you would join the conversation by attending one of the next Think Big town halls in February or visiting the website today!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jennifer P. Bott
