Registration

If your vehicle registration isn‘t due soon, you can purchase a new WMU plate, and the Secretary of State office will prorate your registration fees.

To purchase by mail

1. Complete the University License Plate Request Form.
2. If paying by check or money order, make payable to State of Michigan.
3. If paying by credit card, complete the credit card section within the form.
4. Mail this completed application to:

   Distributed Services Unit
   Lansing, MI 48918

To purchase by fax

1. Complete the University License Plate Request Form.
2. If purchasing by fax, you must pay by credit card.
3. Fax this completed application to: (517) 322-1063.
