Operating budget calendar/timeline
An operating budget calendar/timeline is available for units to use. This calendar will be updated each fiscal year as necessary. The calendar is available in the Reporting and Other Information section, under the appropriate fiscal year.

The budget construction template is available in the Reporting and Other Information section of the SRM website. Use this spreadsheet to build your budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
PeopleSoft/GLOW (General Ledger on the Web)
PeopleSoft is accessed through GoWMU. Under All Links, select Administrative Applications, PeopleSoft Administrative Systems, PeopleSoft Financials or PeopleSoft Human Resources.
PeopleSoft Financials houses the general ledger for the University. The system is used to place and track purchase orders, pay invoices, and make journal entries (JES). GLOW is the read-only view of the general ledger for campus users. This allows users to track their departments for accuracy and reconcile activity each month. This system provides budget and financial reports for departmental use.
PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management) (“PSHR”) is the system through which all University personnel and corresponding data are managed and tracked. Job data, position data, and compensation and payroll are processed through PSHR. This system provides personnel and compensation reports for departmental use.
Cognos
Cognos Analytics is the business intelligence solution employed by the University. It offers web-based tools for reporting, dashboarding and data exploration. Cognos primarily reports from the two main ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems on campus (Banner and PeopleSoft HCM). The system can pull current and historical enrollment data, which is useful for strategic decision-making. Cognos content is highly customizable; special report requests should be directed to the Office of Institutional Research.
Banner
Banner houses student and faculty information and data. Students are billed tuition and fees through Banner. Course information and grades are also tracked here. Course fees are submitted for approval via Banner workflow.
SRM Metrics Dashboard
This dashboard provides users with student credit hour data and enrollment data by college and department. To access the dashboard, go to folder 01.00 University Dashboards > 01.00.90 Strategic Resource Management Metrics.
