pie chart illustrationWestern Michigan University's Center for Business Analytics strives to be an internationally recognized hub for analytics in research, education, community collaboration, and industry practice within and across disciplines. To achieve this, the center's goals include the following:

  • Building a strong research foundation in analytics.
  • Providing analytics consulting services to industry, community organizations and academic areas.
  • Fostering analytics literacy with students through real-world application, internships and other professional activities.
  • Leading analytics explorations across multiple disciplines and geographical areas.

The center is guided by expert faculty, as well as an industry advisory board, who will provide input on the center’s activities and services, ensuring offerings are relevant and cutting-edge. It is housed in the Department of Business Information, part of WMU's Haworth College of Business.
