Elementary Education Major
ED 3710: Elementary Classroom Organization and Management and ED 4500: Pre-internship in Elementary Education
These courses, taken concurrently, will enable students to examine and apply recent research on effective classroom management and will also afford students classroom teaching and observation experiences on a regular basis. In addition to the required pre-internship practicum hours (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m.), students will meet weekly in an on-site seminar conducted by their faculty supervisor.
Pre-requisites and co-requisites
It is recommended that no more than two should be taken concurrently with ED 4500.
- ED 3090 or ED 3100, ED 4010, ED 4070, ED 4300 and MATH 3520.
