County, it is our mission to prepare students to become future health care professionals and to help older adults live in their homes for as long as possible, while complementing care provided by family or friends. We offer programs that promote self-sufficiency.

Adult Wellness Programs at WMU is your one-stop location for older adult services. By offering services to older adults, we help to delay entry to long-term care facilities - ultimately saving families money.

Each semester, Allison Mezo, Aphasia Communication Enhancement Speech Clinician at the Western Michigan University Unified Clinics assigns four speech-language pathology students to provide communication support at WMU's Senior Day Services.
