Work Independently and in Teams

Perhaps you prefer working independently and want to amp up your teamwork skills, gaining knowledge about engaging others' strengths to solve problems. Or, possibly you tend to rely on teamwork to accomplish goals. Either way, the essential studies courses listed below will give you the extra confidence to work in both ways. Check with you advisor about the courses that will fulfill requirements and help you develop independent and teamwork skills.

Andre

Andre is a finance major and just completed an externship with a company that specializes in international finance. Andre is a very independent learner, but he discovered that he needs to increase his ability to work with a diverse team of people in order to succeed in his career. He wants to take courses that will help him reach his goals. Here are some of the classes he could take to develop his teamwork skills:
