What inspired you to join the Evaluation Lab?
I was inspired to join the Evaluation Lab by the opportunity to make a positive impact while developing research skills. My previous research experiences showed me how much I enjoy the research process and collaborative teamwork, which motivated me to continue pursuing research opportunities. The Lab’s dedication to advancing accessible and culturally responsive services in the community aligns with my values, and I am excited to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work!
How does your work in the Lab relate to your career goals?
My goal is to become an occupational therapist who serves diverse populations through impactful services and advocacy. As I begin working in the Evaluation Lab, I will have the chance to work directly with local organizations, evaluate community services, and advocate for accessibility. These experiences will support my future career by helping me
understand how research and evaluation can improve services to meet the needs of communities I will serve as a health professional.
