What inspired you to join the Evaluation Lab?
I didn't just want to analyze data. I wanted it to mean something. My studies have been building my skills, and I kept asking: for whom? The Evaluation Lab answered that. Its commitment to culturally responsive evaluation and centering marginalized communities isn't a footnote; it's the point. That's where I wanted to grow.
How does your work in the Lab relate to your career goals?
My goal is to work in public policy, where analysis leads to real change. The Evaluation Lab is an early and important step in that direction. Experiencing participatory, community-centered evaluation while still in graduate school will teach me things no classroom could.
