I am an evaluation capacity builder with deep experience supporting community-based and grassroots initiatives in designing and using meaningful, actionable evaluation. Grounded in a Ph.D. in Population Health, Masters’ in Social Work and Public Administration, and over a decade of applied practice, I bring a systems lens to my work—helping organizations meaningfully leverage evaluation not just for accountability, but to transform conditions so all communities can thrive. I have designed and been involved in ECB efforts across national, regional, and hyperlocal contexts, with particular strength in working alongside practitioners to develop tools, training, and strategies that are realistic, culturally responsive, and immediately useful. In this work, I apply my experience leading and designing a sport-for-development nonprofit that aims to build access to movement and sport for youth and families on individual, family, community, and systems levels. I also teach evaluation in academic settings and contribute to the field through research, publication, and invited speaking engagements that center equity and utility in evaluation practice.
