For emergency lights, WMU abides by the National Code, NFPA 101, 70.
Monthly: Functional test of emergency lights/exit signs. E-lights require a 30 second quick check: NFPA 101, 70.
Annually: Emergency lights and exit signs: 90 minute drain test and inspection, verification of charge voltage, alignment of heads, hazard assessment, inspection sticker, required paperwork. Battery powered systems. NFPA 101, 70.
