2025 Assurance Argument Updates

Summer 2025: Year 4 Assurance Review Completed

WMU has successfully completed its 2025 four-year Assurance Review with the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), continuing to meet all accreditation criteria with no monitoring or conditions.

This achievement reflects a year-long collaborative effort by the Year 4 Assurance Committee and more than 60 colleagues and contributors across the campus community. 

Spring 2025: Year 4 Assurance Argument Submitted

WMU's 4 Year Assurance Argument was submitted to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) on March 24, 2025! The virtual assurance review of WMUs Year 4 assurance argument has commenced and will be completed March 24- April 21, 2025 by a team of HLC peer reviewers.

Spring-Fall 2024: Assurance Argument Development Continued

The 4-Year Assurance Argument Committee continued working on updating the assurance argument and engaging with campus community members to collect information and insights about significant changes, new activities, and updates since 2021. The committee continued drafting the final version of the Assurance Argument for review in spring 2025.
