First Voice Generation Screening

The Office of the Provost, the Latinx Employee Association and the College of Fine Arts are hosting a documentary film screening on Saturday, October 7th from 3pm to 6pm in the Student Center Ballroom. Written, directed and produced by our very own WMU alumna, Ms. Cynthia Martinez (B.S. ’06), the film “First Voice Generation,” follows three high school, first-generation college bound students experiencing the ups and downs of the global pandemic as they make their way through the TRIO Upward Bound program in Holland, Michigan. The screening will also feature a Q&A session with the film's director. Parking information can be found here.
