Viva Nsair’s research focuses on exploring the differences in workplace experiences given an employee’s gender. She looks at the questions of how one’s gender identity impacts their workplace experiences. In another stream of research, she studies the implications of biases in the workplace, including how and why stereotypes lead to differential treatment and opportunities at work. Nsair has published in journals including the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology.
Nsair’s teaching interests include organizational behavior and leadership, among others.
Prior to her academic career, Nsair worked as a project manager in several countries including Saudi Arabia, France, Canada, Kuwait and the United States. She has worked for a variety of organizations and industries ranging from public to private, healthcare to consulting, and multinational to start-up.
