Student Music Therapists Association
The Student Music Therapists Association (SMTA) is a registered student organization at Western Michigan University open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
The mission of SMTA is to:
- Inform and educate the Western Michigan University graduate and undergraduate student body and surrounding communities of the applications, validity and benefits of music therapy.
- Provide a forum for sharing clinical experiences amongst undergraduate and graduate members.
- Enhance the education of the Western Michigan University student body by providing guest speakers and presenters in fields related to the music therapy profession.
