Sally L. Stickan obituary

Sally L. Stickan, a retired Western Michigan University staff member, died Dec. 7. She was 79.

Stickan, of Portage, Mich., joined the WMU staff in 1986 and retired in 1998 as a hall assignment clerk in the Office of Residence Life after 12 years of service to the University.

She was born in Sturgis, Mich., and spent her childhood and school years in Bronson, Mich. After marrying, Stickan lived for a time in Springfield, Ill. and Coldwater, Mich., before moving to Portage in 1972.

A memorial service will be held in the Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Disabled Veterans of America, hospice or any other organization of choice.
