KALAMAZOO--Applications are due Thursday, March 1, for a total of nearly $45,000 in Student Sustainability Grants to support student research, activities and initiatives that will foster a culture of sustainability at Western Michigan University.

All WMU students who pay the sustainability fee are eligible to apply. Proposals will undergo an initial evaluation to determine, among other things, if they are legal, feasible and adequately budgeted. Proposals meeting minimum requirements will then be evaluated based on merit by an all-student committee. Allocations will be announced before April 1.

Applications must be submitted in PDF format to @email. Visit the WMU Office for Sustainability online for complete information and a grant application. Contact Matt Hollander at @email or (269) 387-0941 with questions or comments.
