KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University Dining Services invites students, university employees and guests to a special Feast of Nations dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, in residence hall dining rooms.

The Feast of Nations dinner menu will feature a sampling of rich cultural cuisines that are found throughout the world. Menu items include assorted sushi, falafel, soupa seca de camarones y fideos, chicken satay, stifado, jollof rice, kheer, baklava, Mexican Java Cream Cheese Brownies, several side dishes and salads, plus more. Dining Services also will be rolling their own sushi for the Feast of Nations event in dining hall kitchens.

Each recipe included on the menu has been tested in WMU kitchens. The cooking team will be trained by Chef Paul Choker, assistant director of Dining Services, in a hands-on demonstration March 22. View pictures from the training and prepared dishes served on the Feast of Nations menu at wmich.edu/dining/events.

All guests are welcome for dinner at any of the five dining room locations on campus. The cost for those without meal plans is $9.25, payable by Dining Dollars and cash at the door. Students, faculty and staff can set up a Dining Dollars account online in advance.
