Trustees set to consider new campus housing rates

KALAMAZOO--The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees will consider an increase in residence hall room-and-board rates and apartment rental rates for the 2012-13 fiscal year when it meets Thursday, April 19.

Convening at 11 a.m. in Room 157 of the Bernhard Center, the board also will consider extension of a lease agreement with PNC Bank for the bank's Bernhard Center branch.

Also on the agenda is a briefing on the work of the University's Office of Military and Veterans Affairs. In addition, trustees will hear and be asked to consent to reports covering personnel moves, receipt of gifts and grants and academic program changes, as well as a request to authorize a WMU application for a one-day liquor license to be used for an on-campus College of Aviation dinner and ceremony.
