Mixer on the Mall, Wednesdays at 5 p.m.

KALAMAZOO--Mixer on the Mall in downtown Kalamazoo runs Wednesdays from June 13 to Aug. 22 and features unique, up-and-coming musicians along with beverages and the opportunity to network and meet new people. Concerts will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with no concert on July 4.

Within the 10-week concert schedule, three events--June 27, July 18 and Aug. 8--will be at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place. The themed events will highlight the 1950's and the 1970's with each era's cars invited to be displayed. The third night will feature a bike night with a 1980's "hair band" theme. The rest of the concerts will be held at the North Kalamazoo Mall between Water Street and E. Michigan Ave.

Admission is $1 and will benefit community charity events managed by Downtown Kalamazoo Inc. Beverage sales require tickets, which are sold near the entrance. Sponsors include WVFM 106.5.
