KALAMAZOO--Booth applications are now being accepted for Bronco Bash, the annual event welcoming more than 25,000 Western Michigan University students, faculty and staff back to campus and to Kalamazoo for the start of a new school year.
Bronco Bash 2012, the 32nd-anniversary event, is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7. Festivities will be held at Fountain Plaza, near the University's Miller Auditorium.
More than 400 student organizations, University departments and local businesses are expected to participate in this year's free, public event by giving out information and loads of free stuff. Other features include live music, a food court, games and prizes.
The early registration deadline for booth space is Friday, July 20. Applications submitted after that date will be assessed a late fee and processed pending available booth space. No applications will be accepted after Aug. 10.
