Western Film Society presents 'Safety not Guaranteed'
KALAMAZOO—The Western Film Society presents the area debut of the comedy "Safety Not Guaranteed," starring Aubrey Plaza and Mark Duplass, Friday through Sunday, Oct. 19-21, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.
Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. Admission is $5 or $3 for current WMU students with a Bronco card.
Winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, the film follows the adventures of Darius (Plaza), a magazine intern who sets out to investigate a mysterious classified ad that reads as follows: "Wanted: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. I have only done this once before. Safety not guaranteed."
Written by Colin Trevorrow and directed by Derek Connolly, the film also stars Jake M. Johnson and Kristen Bell. With a run time of 86 minutes, the film is shown in English and is rated R for language and sexual references.

The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Lane on WMU's East Campus. Free off-street parking is available behind the theatre.
