Janice L. Carlson obituary

Janice L. Carlson, a former Western Michigan University staff member, died May 3. She was 78.

Carlson joined the WMU staff in 1968 and retired in 1994 after 26 years of service to the University.

For many years, she was first cook for the Dining Services unit that prepared food for the Bernhard Center's public cafeteria and catering service as well as residence halls near the center.

During her tenure at the University, Carlson trained numerous Dining Services staff members.
