"Save a Horse Ride a Camel" event March 13

KALAMAZOO—Israel Peace Week, March 11-15, is an international programming effort to bring peace initiatives and programs to college campuses. Western Michigan University is one of 70 campuses participating in Israel Peace Week this year, via student organization Hillel@WMU.

At the event "Save a Horse Ride a Camel," Hillel at WMU will be providing free camel rides to the campus community from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in WMU's parking lot 81 near Valley 3. The event company All The Fun In One will be providing the camels and staff. This event is Student Assessment Fee funded by the Western Student Association Allocations Committee.

Anyone wishing to ride a camel must provide state ID and sign a release form the day of the event. Anyone under 18 must have a parent sign their release form.
