Energy and climate change policy topic of upcoming lecture

KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University's Lee Honors College will host two distinguished guests speaking on energy and climate change policy Wednesday, April 10, as part of its Lyceum Lecture Series.

The free event featuring Mark Schauer, a Democrat and former U.S. Representative for Michigan's 7th Congressional District, and Rob Sisson, a Republican and current president of ConservAmerica, will be in the Lee Honors College lounge from noon to 1 p.m.

Schauer will speak on "A Democratic Perspective on the Politics of Clean Energy Policy," and Sisson's topic is "A Call for Republican Leadership on Climate: The Conservative Case for Climate Action."
