Miller Auditorium announces 2013-14 season

KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium has announced its 2013-14 lineup, which includes performances of "The Addams Family," "Mamma Mia!" and "Memphis."

Available now, season subscriptions are the best way to receive discounted tickets and priority seating. Subscriptions range from $112 to $204 and include tickets to all four PNC Broadway in West Michigan Series shows, with an optional add-on of "Hello, Dolly!" and "Rock of Ages." Add-on prices range from $28 to $51 per show.

Flex Pass subscriptions are also available and include at least four shows from any of the 2013-14 season offerings. Prices vary depending on seating preference and the number of shows purchased. Returning subscribers must renew by June 7 to retain preferred seats.

2013-14 PNC Broadway in West Michigan Series

  • "The Addams Family"
    Oct. 22-23, 7:30 p.m.—The hit musical comedy brings the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life. Come meet the family. We'll leave the lights off for you.
  • "Mamma Mia!"
    Dec. 10-11, 7:30 p.m.—The ultimate feel-good show has had audiences coming back over and over and again to relive the thrill. Have the time of your life at this smash-hit musical that combines ABBA's greatest hits, including "Dancing Queen," "S.O.S.," "Super Trouper," "Take A Chance on Me" and "The Winner Takes It All," with a tale of love, laughter and friendship. 
  • "Memphis"
    Feb. 11-12, 2014, 7:30 p.m.—From the underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis, Tenn., comes a hot new Broadway musical with explosive dancing, irresistible songs and a thrilling tale of fame and forbidden love. Inspired by actual events, the musical tells the tale of a white radio disc jockey who wants to change the world and a black club singer who is ready for her big break. Come along on their incredible journey to the ends of the airwaves.
  • "Million Dollar Quartet"
    March 18-19, 2014, 7:30 p.m.—The Tony award-winning Broadway musical was inspired by the electrifying true story of the famed recording session where Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” brought together icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for one unforgettable night.

  • "Hello Dolly!"
    Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, 7:30 p.m.—Featuring an irresistible story and an unforgettable score including the title song, "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," "Hello, Dolly!" has been charming audiences around the world for nearly 50 years. Emmy award-winning Sally Struthers stars as the strong-willed matchmaker Dolly, as she travels to Yonkers, NY, to find a match for the ornery "well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire," Horace Vandergelder.
  • "Rock of Ages"
    Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, 7:30 p.m.—This musical party features a mix of 28 tunes from the 1980s, including "Don't Stop Believin'," "We Built this City" and "Can't Fight this Feeling." Set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl meets a big city rocker in LA's most famous rock club. Tag along as they fall in love to some of the greatest songs of that era.
