KALAMAZOO—A number of lucky winners have already been named in prize drawings for donating to Western Michigan University's 2013 campus United Way Campaign. Weekly drawings continue every Friday until Nov. 15.

Prizes

    • Two tickets to a home football game
    • Two tickets to a home women's basketball game
    • Two tickets to a home men's basketball game
    • $25 off certificate for Miller Auditorium tickets during the 2013-14 season
    • $20 gift card to any Millennium restaurant

Winners

Winners so far include Karen DeVries, Office of the Vice President for Research; Donna Talbot, educational leadership, research and technology; Donald Nelson, computer science; Linda Reeser, social work; Carla Chase, occupational therapy; Natalia Obreiter, military sciences; William Arbogast, Sindecuse Health Center; Kristal Ehrhardt, special education and literacy studies; Jane Baas, dance; Laurie Wolfe, human resources; Mark Mundo, dining services; and Patrick Northrup, university libraries.

Names of eligible contributors whose pledge cards are returned to the president's office, Mail Stop 5202, by 5 p.m. the Thursday before each drawing will be included. Eligibility is cumulative, so those eligible for the first drawing will continue to be eligible for subsequent drawings. There is a limit of one weekly prize per person. Once a person wins a weekly prize, they will be ineligible for subsequent weekly drawings.

Grand-prize drawing

One grand-prize drawing will be held Friday, Nov. 15, in addition to the drawing for the regular weekly prizes.

All WMU faculty and staff members who contribute to the campaign whose pledge cards are received in the president's office by 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, will be entered into the grand-prize drawing of a $100 gift card to any Millennium restaurant or an oar signed by Head Football Coach P.J. Fleck. This includes all previous prizewinners.

The campus United Way campaign to date has collected pledges totaling nearly 67 percent of its $300,000 goal.

Exclusions

WMU United Way Advisory Board members are not eligible for the weekly drawings or the grand-prize drawing.
