University Theatre presents 'Seven'

Performances of "Seven" begin Thursday, Jan. 23.

KALAMAZOO—Western Michigan University theatre students will bring to the stage the stories of seven women from seven countries in 'Seven' Jan. 23 through Feb. 2 in the York Arena Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.

"Seven" journeys into the lives of seven women who have triumphed over enormous obstacles to bring about major change in their home countries of Afghanistan, Cambodia, Guatemala, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Pakistan and Russia.

Under the direction of Lofty Durham and Dwandra Lampkin, the all-student cast includes Anica DeGraff, Ellen Jenders, Mary Klenk, Sophie Scanlon, Sarah Taylor, Shuyuan Wang and Sruda Xedagbui.

Tickets

All seating for "Seven" at York Arena Theatre is general admission. Tickets are $20, $18 for senior citizens and WMU employees, $5 for WMU students and $10 for all other students.
