Walk-on tryouts for men's soccer scheduled

Students interested in trying out must attend the Sept. 1 meeting.

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Western Michigan University's men's soccer program will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2014 season at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the indoor turf bay in the Seelye Athletic Center.

Only current, full-time WMU students may try out for varsity Bronco athletic teams.

There will be a mandatory meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, in the W Club Room of the Seelye Center. All necessary paperwork must be submitted at this meeting to participate in the tryout the following day.

Items to bring to the tryout

• A current class schedule.
• Photo identification.
• Proof of insurance.
• A current physical, including sickle cell test results from a physician.
