Parsons Dance at Miller Auditorium
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Internationally-renowned dance company Parsons Dance is performing at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Miller Auditorium as part of the Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series.

Based in New York City and under the direction of David Parsons, the company of eight full-time dancers presents uplifting, family-friendly contemporary dance to audiences around the world. Parsons Dance maintains a repertory of more than 70 works by its director, as well as commissions by emerging choreographers. The company has also collaborated artists such as Steely Dan, Dave Matthews, Michael Gordon, Milton Nascimento, William Ivey Long, Annie Leibovitz, Donna Karan and Alex Katz, among others.
Parsons Dance was founded in 1985 and has performed in more than 350 cities, 30 counties and 5 continents for the most prestigious theaters and festivals worldwide. In addition to choreography and performance, Parsons Dance engages audiences of all ages through education and outreach programs, post-show discussions, open rehearsals and classes, summer workshops, and studio showcases.

Parsons Dance at Miller Auditorium is welcomed by Meijer as part of the Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series. Tickets range from $35 to $45. They can be purchased online at millerauditorium.com, by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 228-9858, or in person at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.
A 15 percent discount is available to all WMU faculty and staff, and a 50 percent discount is available to WMU students. Discounted tickets may be purchased by phone or in person, and a valid Bronco ID is required at the time of pickup. Group discounts are available at (269) 387-2312.
