Trustees to consider apartment rental rates, name for new facility
KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Campus apartment rental rates for the 2015-16 fiscal year and a recommendation to name a new campus dining hall top the agenda when the Western Michigan University Board of Trustees holds a formal public session this week.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, in 157-59 Bernhard Center. As previously announced, the meeting will be held in a conference-call format, with the call originated from the formal meeting rooms. The meeting, which is open to the public, will cover only action and consent items and will not include the round of remarks and presentations that typically occur when the board meets.
During the meeting, trustees will receive and be asked to approve reports covering personnel moves, receipt of gifts and grants, changes to academic programs and a number of other administrative items.
