Award-winning jazz saxophonist and his quartet to give performance

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Jazz saxophonist Steve Wilson and his quartet Wilsonian's Grain will give a performance at 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, in Western Michigan University’s Dalton Center Recital Hall. The quartet features Wilson; George Colligan, piano; Ugonna Okegwo, bass; and Bill Stewart, drums.

Steve Wilson has brought his distinctive sound to more than 100 recordings featuring such celebrated and wide-ranging artists as Chick Corea, Michael Brecker and Dave Holland, and is well known as a bandleader in his own right. He will be celebrating the release of his new album, "Live in New York: The Vanguard Sessions," at the March 20 show.
