About the conference

Conference offerings will include an interactive plenary session that will highlight pertinent assessment topics and lay the framework for the nine breakout sessions that will take place later in the day.

Two of the breakout sessions will include panels of several WMU faculty and staff who will share information about their assessment projects and lessons learned, and be available to answer participants' questions.

There will be opportunities to learn how to develop effective assessment tools and to find out more about assessment resources at WMU and beyond. Networking opportunities will also be provided, as will a continental breakfast and luncheon for registered participants.

Conference participants are encouraged to attend any or all of the sessions and to feel free to come and go as their schedules permit.

The program will also include the announcement of the winners of the University Assessment Steering Committee Assessment Excellence Awards as well as a poster session that will highlight the assessment projects of the 2014-15 Assessment Fellows. Participants will also have the opportunity to win door prizes.
