Kalamazoo Blues Fest returns to downtown

KALAMAZOO, Mich.−The 22nd annual Kalamazoo Blues Festival will feature three days and nights of local, regional and national blues bands Thursday through Saturday, July 9-11.
Sponsored by the Kalamazoo Valley Blues Association, tickets are $5 Thursday, $10 Friday, and $12 Saturday. A three-day pass may be purchased in advance for $20 and includes admission to the All-Star Jam 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Shakespeare’s Pub, 241 E. Kalamazoo Ave. which is $5 without an advanced ticket.
Volunteers are needed, especially for setup on July 8 and tear-down on July 12.
