Public presentations to fill dean of libraries position begin

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—Presentations by candidates to fill the position of dean of University Libraries at Western Michigan University will begin Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The public presentations by these four finalists will all be held at 2 p.m. in the Putney Lecture Hall of the Fetzer Center on these days and dates:
- Wednesday, Oct. 7, Dr. Brad Eden, dean of Library Services, Valparaiso University.
- Thursday, Oct. 8, Dr. Mildred Jackson, associate dean for research and instruction, University of Alabama.
- Monday, Oct. 12, Dr. Lynn Baird, dean of University Libraries, University of Idaho.
- Wednesday, Oct. 14, Julie Garrison, associate dean for research and instructional services, Grand Valley State University.

The successful candidate will replace Dr. Joseph Reish, WMU’s current dean of University Libraries, who is retiring at the end of this year.
